Applied for Hubway Data Challenge with Balázs Krich.
Learned:
- Tilemill is good, but you need time and a plan,
- titles are major on maps,
- USGS NED and (ASTER)[http://gdem.ersdac.jspacesystems.or.jp/search.jsp] are geil if you go for topographic maps,
- if your data has both timestamp and geocode go Torque to animate them. Some Google Directions API magic helps.
</p>
Anyway this way a real ramp up in digital mapping.
